This document defines the terms and conditions that apply to your purchases from the www.amalys.com website and its use, and forms a contract between you and the company owning the brand Amalys, a company registred in Brussels, Belgium. By making a purchase from this website and by using it, you have agreed to these terms and conditions. Please note that these terms and conditions may be updated at any time.

Confirmation

Once you have placed your order on www.amalys.com you will receive an electronic invoice to your e-mail address as a confirmation of your purchase. Please save this email as this will facilitate any contact you could have with our customer service team in the future. As explained in the warranty section, this electronic order confirmation also serves as a guarantee of proof of purchase.

Payment

We accept payments using Bancontact, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. These payment methods are strictly secure and protected. The payment will be handled by Stripe with secure encryption. Amalys does not store any credit card numbers. All confidential data is transferred directly in an encrypted format (SSL) to the financial entity.

Promo codes

Promo Codes should be entered during the checkout process to be valid. For technical reasons, attempting to add a promo code after a purchase will not be honored. Thank you for your understanding.

Some promotional codes are not cumulative and it is up to AMALYS to decide if a promotional code is not combinable with another promotion in progress (example: sales, Black Friday,...).

Prices and taxes

Prices are displayed in Euros, Dollars or British Pounds, depending on your location. Amalys reserves the right to modify the prices of its products at any time. In case of an order is shipped to a delivery address outside the European Union, the consumer could be subject to pay for import duties and taxes. The consumer will be responsible for paying such import duties and/or taxes.

Intellectual property

All designs, images, text, comments, illustrations and images reproduced on www.amalys.com are Amalys’ exclusive property and are protected by intellectual and/or industrial property rights throughout the world.

Users are not authorized to publish, handle, distribute or reproduce, in any format, all or part of this site’s content. “AMALYS” is a registered trademark. Users are not authorized to use this trademark in any way and they agree not to use this trademark without the prior, written consent of Amalys.

Confidentiality policy

Amalys complies with the privacy regulations, as recorded in the Belgian Act of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation of the processing of personal data. The customer has always the possibility to inspect, amend or delete his/her personal data. The customer also has the right to oppose their processing for direct marketing purposes by simply sending an email to support@amalys.com.

Amalys will store the data entered by a customer in a file. This data will for example be used for the purpose of fulfilling the customer’s order. We guarantee that all personal data will be handled with care. Those are not transmitted to any third party for marketing purposes without receiving the agreement of the consumer. Those personal data may however be used for sending promotions and newsletters in the case of the consumer gave his agreement to do so, by subscribing to the Amalys newsletter or by making a purchase on the website for example. In these circumstances, it is possible that offers from external partners are included in newsletters and promotional offers. Amalys is also allowed to use the customers’ data to promote certain products or services to the customer.

Applicable Law

Belgian law applies to all agreements and legal relationships between Amalys and the customer, regardless the country in which the customer is based.
